The culmination of a years testing has resulted in this GBE HID kit.
Tested in the real world on real cars we have found some very good and very bad kits. Our conclusion was that we should not sell the eBay quality kits and instead concentrate on the performance market, where the most important thing is being able to see properly!
This H4 kit contains Level 1 ballasts and bulbs (see our article on HID kits to find out what this means: HID KIT ARTICLE). Only the very best and most reliable parts make up this kit.
H4 kits have HID low (dip) beam and 60w (standard) Halogen High beam.

We stock both 35w and 50w kits (select from the drop down list below). 35w kits are very bright and in most scenarios there is no need for the 50w kit unless you spend a large amount of time on badly lit, badly surfaced roads. The 50w is our "Deluxe" kit and attracts a £22 premium.
This contains the 8000K bulbs which are a blue white light. Also available in 6000K colour type, which has a much more white look. We do recommend the 6000K for road use.
Not to be confused with eBay specials, these are the highest quality kits and exceed OEM specification. We have used these kits on cars that already had HIDs (Passat B5.5) and we were very pleased with the extra output.
