This week at GB Enterprises......... The wonders of 3D printing These beauties were the result of a little project with some 3D printing. By making a 3D model of these rear brake brackets for an Audi, we were able to ensure they were absolutely the correct size and shape to fit the desired end product. Once happy they were going to do the job, they could be sent off and actual steel items made. No mess and no hassle and don't they look pretty!! Next time on the blog ....    This week at GB Enterprises............ You might have noticed that we haven't put any videos up recently. Tamsyn, (that's me by the way) has been learning to use some new video editing software.     We will be making some shiny new videos of the fantastic cars we have coming into us. This week at GB Enterprises........     Dyno day     Last Saturday we had our most recent Dyno Shoot Out here at GB Enterprises. It was a good turn out with a real diverse range of cars coming along. This week at GB Enterprises ......... EVO 8 This job was supposed to be a simple tidy-up and ended up being a near complete restoration job. Some of the rust needed to be removed and a new powder coat added to parts. They look a million times better than before.  It came in for a Forged engine build and Link ECU upgrade but the condition of the car lead us to having to do so much more. Also in the workshop.... Have a look at this Month's Performance VW magazine to see a car we have done lots of work on! Austen Grice of BMW Specialist "Grants of Wellington" had us build a loom for this one-off car. Using a Link Thunder ECU , Link (AIM) MXS Strada Digital Race Dash and lots of other goodies, this 2.7 Twin Turbo V6 Audi engine has been grafted into a MK2 VW Golf. And the special ingredient? A REAR WHEEL DRIVE Conversion using BMW 1 and 3 series parts!  Credit goes to Austen for building this and especially for having the Cahoonas to drive...
